Readers will have gathered by now that in this history of society I am mainly interested in causality. The context is always either the dynamic survival or the sluggish stagnation of societies. There are many strands to these causalities and often the discovery of the truth of a proposition depends on being able to recognise a given outcome as having been bi-causal, that is to say causation working in two or more directions simultaneously.
Reminder: Administered society is one of only three ‘thoroughly dynamic’ preexisting societies—the other two having been type 5 and type 8. We live in hope for type 10 now that type 8 (the West) has quite definitely entered its BBB-π stagnation phase.
Administered society was the first society to leave solid evidence of the reasons for its survivability. In discussing methodological questions, such as ‘causality’, we prepare the ground for comparisons and continuities with later societies.
